Wuhan Tanhualin History and Culture Exhibition Hall was built on ancient site of the Yuanzhenli middle school, according to the principle of repairing the old as the old which took half a year to complete. It is one of the important steps for Wuchang District Committee and District Government to protect and develop the history and culture of Tanhualin. The exhibition hall has covered the history of more than 1790 years, from the founding of Wuchang City (AD 223) to the incorporation of Tanhualin into the city (AD 829), from 1840 to 1949, the most brilliant history for one hundred years that Tanhualin has developed, and then from 2004 to 2014,the reconstruction for Tanhualin has been created for ten years, which has always presented prosperity.
