The Anti-British Memorial Hall in Gyangze, Tibet was built to commemorate the battle of Gyangze which lasted for more than two months in 1904. It was the largest and most tragic battle against foreign invaders in modern history of Tibet. The memorial hall displays the history of the struggle against the English of the Tibetan and Han dynasty, and highlights the national integrity of the Tibetan people in resisting foreign aggression and defending their homeland. The museum will become an important patriotic education base and a classic red tourism scenic spot in Tibet.
